The first European round of the EWC 2015 was staged in Spain at Jerez de la Frontera, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May saw another splendid result for Alex Salvini. Three weeks away from the two third positions obtained in GP of Chile who had opened the Enduro World Championship 2015, repeated his podium finishing the race with a third and second place, behind winner Antoine Meo. The Bologna Rider of Team Honda-Zanardo therefore rose for the second consecutive time on the podium of E2.Taken, unfortunately, on Saturday about 18 seconds to a spectacular fall in the special prologue, Salvini still managed to finish third in 26.10 seconds by Antoine Meo and 14.83 from Renet. Salvini, on Sunday, but has missed out on victory by finishing off Meo just 10.3 seconds after the eighth laps was only 6.77 from his opponent. To underline in this GP Salvini also won five special disputed. Race a little subdued for Alessandro Battig in EJ. After the fall of the prologue that cost him several seconds, Saturday lost another time falling in two special. Sunday has improved its “step” entering to the “top five” with a satisfying fifth place. Thanks to the results of the Spanish GP Salvini confirmed its third position in the championship of the E2, while Battig third of EJ.
