SECOND STAGE OF ITALIAN ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP

Team Jolly Racing after the double worldwide appointment, in Morocco and Portugal, moved to Sicily for the second act of the Italian Championship of Enduro Under-23 and Senior. At Custonaci, in the province of Trapani, our boys ran an incredible race getting a first place of class in E3 Senior for Mirko Gritti and a third place in the E1 4T Junior for Michele Marchelli. Started quietly to avoid complications to the injured knee Mirko Gritti has the fastest time in the last four special test going so to win the class and was second in the absolute. At the time Mirko was the E3 class Senior leaders with maximum points. A good race for Michele Marchelli, third in the E1 4T Junior class, with at the assets two special test finished with the best time and the second provisional place of class defended.

“An uphill race but with an happy ending. In the first special test I fell while in the first enduro test I haven’t pushed hard for fear of worsening the injured knee. From the second round onwards I started to push harder galvanized also by the excellent response of the knee and I have won all special test and my class. ”
