After the race in Belgium (World Championship) and in Fabbrica Curone (Italian Championship), on August 30th Alex Salvini and Alessandro Battig faced the first edition of “The Wall Extreme”: an extreme enduro competition raced at the Off Road Park in Pietramurata (TN) – menaged by Sembenini family – and at Arco di Trento cross track, well known because of is one round of the Cross World Championship. For Battig and Salvini was an opportunity to confront their Honda-Red Moto CRF 250R Enduro and CRF 450R Enduro against the best extreme enduro specialists, all with a two-stroke bike. Team Honda-Red Moto-Zanardo riders increase even more the competitiveness of their four strokes bikes, thanks to the great job made by the team coordinated by engineer Carlo Curci. Alex Salvini was among the best players of the race, finishing third overall in the first qualifying round of the morning, despite a crash in the last Enduro special test. In the second shot, reserved to the first ten riders, Salvini fight for the podium finishing fifth. Good race also for Alessandro Battig, who after the victory in some special test, was unfortunately unable to enter in the final round due to a violent contusion to the left thigh after a fall in the Enduro special test during the morning.
