ASSOLUTI – DARFO BOARIO TERME

After the double world engagement with the French GP and the Spoleto GP, the Fantic JET Racing team did not stop and last weekend participated in the fifth and sixth rounds of the Assoluti d’Italia di Enduro. The town that hosted the event of the top Italian championship responds to the name of Darfo Boario Terme and the motorcycle club organizer is the expert Motoclub Sebino. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, the four special tests designed by the organizers have undergone several changes. The heavy rains that fell on Friday and for most of Saturday forced the organizers to cancel the Extreme on both days of competition, while the two Cross Tests suffered several cuts. At Darfo Boario Terme Riccardo Fabris and Harry Edmondson were present while Igor Brunengo preferred to rest due to injury. On Day One the son of art Harry Edmondson raced an unforgettable race, finishing in hypothetical first place in the 125 class. The English rider expressed his potential in the mud of Darfo Boario Terme and also performed well in the Foreigners class. Riccardo Fabris took an excellent third place in the Youth class. The Veneto-based rider ran two excellent days of racing and on Day2 fought for the second place final which was thwarted by a mistake in the last Enduro Test. The next appointment for Fantic JET Racing is scheduled for Sunday 18 October with the last act of the Italian Under 23 and Senior championship.
