FANTIC D’ARPA ITALY GP

Fantic D’Arpa Racing Team was the protagonist of a weekend to be framed in Spoleto, the background of the Grand Prix of Italy, the second race of World EnduroGP Championship. The young Jed Liam Etchells was the big dominator of Youth Class “Under 21” who got twice on top of podium. The English got the second win with the new Fantic XE 125 2T after the one he obtained last week in France GP, thus strengthening his leadership in the championship classification. On Saturday Etchells won five special races and ended the remaining ones three times on fourth position, one eighth and one seventh. On Sunday, on wet track, he had no rivals, so he won six special races out of nine and ended the remaining twice second and one eighth. An extraordinary result, celebrated with his team, guided by Marco D’Arpa, as the numerous fans, crowding the paddock and the special races, clapped him. Good race for the Finn Hugo Svard in Youth class, too. After the seventh position of Saturday, on Sunday he was brilliant and grazed the podium with fourth position, which confirms his growth and the constant improvement in driving skill. Next agonistic meeting for Fantic D’Arpa Racing Team will be the third race of Italian Enduro Championship, valid as fifth and sixth race day in the national season 2020, planned in Dario-Boario Terme in the weekend of 3-4 of October.
