The second round of the Enduro Italian Championship was raced with good weather conditions in Arma di Taggia, a few kilometers from Sanremo. 180 riders faced a route of 50 km to repeat four times with three different special test: one spectacular Cross Test on the beach of Arma di Taggia, an Extreme Test and an Enduro Test in Cipressa, on the Ligurian Apennines, for a total of 13 special test and over seven hours on the bike. In dry conditions Ruy Barbosa ruled the foreign class, always in the top ten, finishing third and eighth overall. In the 450 4T class Giacomo Redondi finished with an excellent second position, despite he suffered the hard ground of the Enduro test; definitely better the times in the Cross and in the Extreme test. In trouble with the hard ground the young English Joe Wootton too, who didn’t find the right feeling to race on offense. Next competition is the third round of the Italian Championship, scheduled on Sunday, 14th April in Pontremoli (MS).
