The enduro world has returned to visit the Greek town of Serres, which was missing from the World Championship calendar since 2010. Friday night an unexpected and heavy downpour has “wet” the Super Test, in which Simone recorded a good sixth time. The race included a long Enduro Test in the bed of a watercourse, a complicated Extreme Test and a nice track, Simone Albergoni took a few laps to get the rhythm right and, after a few corrections to the setting of his Kawasaki KE 250F, began to push hard to recover over rivals and succeeded, thanks to a very good lap, to finish in fifth place. In head, lonely race for Remes, winner ahead of Bourgeois and Nambotin, incredibly paired in second place after scoring the exact same time, and the Iberian Santolino, which preceded our own Simone. Also during the second day Simone was fighting for the top five, which reached during the third and penultimate lap. Unfortunately he then had some problems in the Enduro test and was overtaken by Guerrero with whom he then started a good fight which ended in favor of the Spaniard, however. Simone has so brought home the sixth place, just 5 seconds from the fifth and the ninth of the fourth, still occupied by Santolino. Gold for Remes, impregnable to all, silver for the points leader Nambotin, bronze for young McCanney.
